Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium - Brunei

This multipurpose stadium is located in the capital city of Brunei.  Bandar Seri Begawan was built in 1980 and has a capacity of 28,000 people and is owned by the Department of Youth Development and Sport.

The stadium, named after Brunei's current head of state Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, who had been in office since 1967 (as a British protectorate), was used as the home ground for the Brunei national team.  Which was recently used in the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup qualifying game against Timor-Leste before defeating it 1-0 (but eliminated by head-to-head later).

In addition, the stadium has also hosted major events such as the hosting of the 20th SEA Games in 1999 (1999).
