General Aung San Stadium - Myanmar
General Aung San Stadium has been the largest stadium in Myanmar since 1930 and was renamed after a major general in 1953 after it gained independence from the United Kingdom and has a capacity of approximately 40,000.
The stadium used to be the official stadium for the Myanmar national team for some time, having been given the opportunity to host the 1961 and 1969 SEA Games they hosted.Myanmar now uses the less crowded Tuwanna Stadium ( 32,000 people), but more modern as the main course.
